In the far-off cyber year 2024, unorthodox naivigator Vreena and regular phone owner Joe form the detective duo Dream Team! This time their adventures lead them to the largest gaming expo until E3 comes back: The one and only Gamescom! Will standing in line for Starfield help Vreena understand what it  means to be human? Will Joe understand the true magic of the Gamescom? Will showing off Dream Team at Gamescom 2023 get me banned for life as an exhibitor? Most of these questions will be answered in: Dream Team: Episode Gamescom!

This is a demo of what I want to show at Gamescom 2023 (still missing the German translation and some art).  I can't compete in a fair fight against all those great indie games, so instead I try to connect with the visitors by making a game about the Gamescom and some of its more eccentric areas. Usually, I prefer more character-driven stuff (because writing characters is more fun), but this time the Gamescom itself is the main focus point of the demo. It's more Gamescomgaga (see Segagaga) than Dream Team, really. I'm a bit worried that some of the characters ended up being a bit bland in this tradeoff, please let me know if they felt too low energy.

There are a lot of new requirements for a Gamescom demo. There's going to be an age rating (that has to be 12 or below), I probably can no longer haphazardly reference copyrighted stuff (which I still do in this itch demo though, because why not) and I can no longer assume most people that play the demo share my enjoyment of darker comedy. I already aimed for a 12 age rating with this, please let me know if you see something offensive or, uh, "adult jokes" that I overlooked. 

Also, the AI gimmick died for now (free talking to Vreena). It was more of an experimental thing anyway, and my assessment of generated content was more towards the negative spectrum. You can't really generate Vreena, I think. Might run more experiments with it in future versions though.
